Flock Project at the Horniman Museum

At last, after many discussions and a delay due to Covid, Flock Project has settled at the Horniman Museum in Forest Hill, London. At a time when migration is the biggest story in the news, Flock Project quietly reflects on the memories of refugees, many of whom have overcome difficult journeys to the UK, expressed through clay and ‘birdcraft’. The project connects the birds on display with the historic original museum labels which highlight migration routes found in nature. I want to thank the Horniman Museum for their help and support in putting together this chance to show the beautiful birds made by the Grounding Project, which is supported by SLaM (South London and Maudsley NHS Trust)
